This side folding stock fits the 870 20 ga and the pump action rifles like the 7615. It lets you have a compact shotgun/rifle for easy storage and the option of adjustable length of pull. The folding housing, hinge and hinge pin are made of steel. The telescoping stock is our M4 stock with heavy duty tube designed to take the recoil of 3 1/2 inch 12 ga. Length of pull is from 13 3/4 to 16 3/4 inches. Weight- 2 lb. 8oz Comes with forend. Some of the early 20ga Remington 870 shotguns were made on the 12ga frame so parts for the lightweight 20ga 870 will not fit. To determine if you gun is built on the 12ga frame remove your magazine cap and see if a 12ga shell will fit into your magazine tube. If the rim of the 12ga shell will not fit then your 870 is built on the lightweight frame, if it does fit your 870 is built on the 12ga frame.
